Hi, all. Sorry this is getting posted so late in the day. I expected the WIFI Hancock Airport to work better than it did. I wasn't the only passenger in the waiting area getting cut off every few keystrokes, so I finally gave up.
As some of you know this is a traveling weekend for me. I'm off to Orlando (by way of Cincinnati!) and then on to Altoona for the Florida Pagan Gathering. Basically, a bunch of hippies drumming around bonfires, with workshops smattered throughout the day to make it look like we're really doing something. But really, it's about the drumming. And guitars. And the party, I think. Now I can't swear to that, since I haven't arrived yet, but I'm betting that'll be my report on the flipside.
I'm giving workshops on writing for a living, and on the Law of Attraction as it meshes (or doesn't) with the lesser known Pagan systems of spirituality. (Mostly it does. There, workshop accomplished. Lead me to a bonfire!)
Anyway, I'm writing this from the airport in Cincinnati, where I found several delights. A Dunkin' Donuts (where I got my first cup of the day!) and a Subway (where I got my lunch) and a Borders, with 7 copies of LOVER'S BITE face out on the shelf. I stopped in and signed them. It was a kick to see them there.
I have no idea what's going on with sales, since I'm basically out of touch for the weekend. And this is going to be cruelly short, but trust me, the next blog should be chock full of fun FPG tales, and I brought the camera too!
So hang tough until then.

Have fun!!!
Sounds like a great trip. Who wouldn't love to sit around a campfire and bang on a drum! Sounds like a great way to relieve stress, even if that's not the actual intention.
I'm looking forward to the pictures--and hearing all about it!

Well it sounds as if you are well on your way to a fun filled time. Work can sometimes be tedious but it sounds as if you have the perfect balance on this trip. Have fun and don't forget to post some pictures of your adventure. Just be safe in your travels, looking forward to hearing more from you. I just picked up MY copy of Lover's Bite and cant wait to dive in. Take care!
Bought the book and am eagerly waiting for the weekend to dive in!
