Reno's Here! (Anne Stuart)

Next week you'll get a trip report on the wonders of Disney World, but in the meantime I have to tell you that Reno has now officially arrived on this planet. The strangest, most wonderful hero I've ever written, he's a punk Yakuza samurai, wild and crazy and the baddest of bad boys, and I love him to pieces.

For now this is the last of the ICE books, though I have at least a couple more characters to take care of (Mahmoud and Finn MacGowan) but for now this will have to suffice. And given how freaking cool Reno is, it should keep you busy.

There's also a special treat available for you at Celebwire. A free short story covering the time when Reno and Jilly first met. You can follow this link http://www.authorlink.com/celebwire/
and download it if you want a taste of what led up to FIRE AND ICE.

I've decided not to worry about how it's going to sell, or read reviews, or any of that. I'm just going to enjoy the fact that a book I love is out and available to people who might love it too, and let it go at that.

And next week you get to hear all about Disney World.

Now if anyone's got an opinion on FIRE AND ICE I'd love to hear it. Whether you can embrace Reno as a hero or if he's too far out for you.

But in the meantime I'm going to enjoy the sunshine, work on the new book, and not worry about it.

Happy Spring!!!

Fire and Ice is my favourite of your Ice series! It seems like I've been waiting 4ever for Reno and Jilly's story. From the first time they saw each other I knew you could make their story special. Thanks for such a wonderful book, again.

Ah, Reno. Dark, delicious Reno. Loved FIRE AND ICE, devoured it in one day-Well, half a day, really. I was nearly panting for it by the time it hit the shelves. ;cP

The short story explained a few things, namely the car-chase incident that Jilly refers to in the book. Curiously, why wasn’t this short used as a prologue?

Finished Fire and Ice last night and I absolutely LOVED it! I loved Reno when you introduced him in Ice Blue, and knew that he was going to be kick-ass from what we saw of him in Ice Storm, but nothing prepared me for falling in love with his and Jilly's story. Absolutely amazing and I certainly hope we see more of them soon!
